Hi, I’m Rebecca.
I’m an abdominal therapist, massage therapist, fertility awareness and movement practitioner specializing in reproductive, prenatal, and postpartum health. I collaborate with folks around issues such as menstrual pain and irregularity, fertility challenges, cycle and body awareness, hormone free birth control, pregnancy comfort and wellness, optimal positioning of baby, ease in labor and delivery, and postpartum healing and homeostasis.
If you want to know more about my background then feel free to read on. If you want the quick summary, then know that I love to work with folks in a relaxed and accepting environment, to help them find better reproductive health. Better reproductive health means so many things, and is unique to each individual. Whether you want less painful and/or more regular cycles, want to know more about how your reproductive system and cycle work, are looking to become pregnant or avoid pregnancy, or want to make space in your body so baby has more options for positioning, I’m here to help and support you.
I’m a Certified and Advanced Pregnancy Practitioner of Abdominal Therapy, a FAMM Certified Fertility Awareness Practitioner, a Certified Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapist, a Prenatal and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, a Body Ready Method Pro, and a Spinning Babies® Aware Practitioner. Learning effective, holistic ways to support myself and others, and passing on these tools to my clients and loved ones is something that gives me great joy. I am currently studying family and community herbalism and hope one day to be able to share this with clients as well.
I’m a mom to three adult children and a rescue dog. Being a mom is one of the best, most challenging and most enjoyable things I have ever done. In my life before reproductive health, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from WPI and worked as an Orthotist at Children’s Hospital in Boston. I know that all these paths, and my life experience, have converged perfectly to lead me to the work I do today - supporting folks (and tiny folks, aka babies) in finding better health, comfort and well-being.
My pronouns are she/her. All people are welcomed and respected when working with me. You can find me most days at my studio, collaborating with my clients and listening to the stories they and their bodies have to tell.
